I have been more inspired by the landscape of The Finger Lakes recently. Living between Keuka Lake and Seneca Lake connects me to a new creative energy. I used to live in the foot, and now I have moved closer to the heart of this geographical body. Painting the beautiful things I see while walking in the woods or driving makes more sense to me now than it used to.

I have been infusing the landscape around me into a lot of my new art. In these recent works, I have made abstracted impressionist-style landscape paintings. First I made a couple on my ipad, then I thought something like that could work on my handmade paper. It's been fun doing similar paintings both digitally and on a physical medium.
